We are a community of people who love getting out on our bikes and making the most of the tracks in and around Tokoroa.

There are many tracks that can be used by all levels wether you are a beginner , intermediate or an experienced rider.

Forestry operations have finished in the park!  We have full access again to all the

remaining parts of the park, effective from Friday 1st June 2018”

Junior Mid North Island Series – Sunday 14th October

Winter Night Rides

Every Monday night starting at 6 pm at the Cougar MTB Park gate the club has organised night rides.  These happen only during the winter evenings (from daylight savings end to daylight saving start).
You will need a good set of night riding lights on your bike and/or on your helmet.  You will also need warm waterproof clothing that you can comfortably ride in.

Hey guys
Just a heads up on some of the awesome work being done in the park , trail fairy’s have been hard at work on saber tooth this a massive effort thanks guys.
Also yaba daba do has been brush cut , once again this is not an easy job thank you very much.

All the work undertaken this weekend has been done by members just getting out there and doing it , this really helps take the load off the trail team we really appreciate that thanks guys.
We will look at starting regular working bees up early next month so keep you eyes out for this.

Fairys have been at work on Maber too, all clear and riding super fast

I went up sabre tooth today for first time in a bit.. thanks so much to the fairies who fixed up the track washout by the cave, great job!! Much appreciated.

A heads up to all Cougar Park users.. Hancocks Forestry Management will be conducting weed spraying on the cut over area some time next week.
The park will be closed on the day of spraying for the whole day... for your safety!!.
Not sure of the exact day as yet, it will be a
weather permitting situation. Keep posted and we will inform you of which day this will happen. If by chance you miss the anoucement please do do not breach any tape that is up across tracks and the bridge any time next week.
